Hello! I am Aristocratic Arietta!

But you can just call me Aria (she/her)! I am a web designer who loves making things fancy and ornate! I am always learning and seeking new challenges. This website is a way for me to express myself and write down my thoughts. Kinda like a junk journal but digital!

What do you do?

I am very active in the world of Second Life, where I make original mesh clothing and occasionally other items. Check out my Marketplace store!

I have been creating items and mods for games as long as I have had a computer. I am highly skilled in Blender and I love using the Adobe 3D products to make awesome creations. Unity for VRChat and Java for Minecraft are also no strangers to me, but I fully admit it has been a while since I have done either. However, if I ever get back into either, I will post about it here!

Offline, I am a moderately experienced seamstress! I specialize in sewing historical dress, from the mantuas of the English courts to the cocktail dresses of the 1960s, and everything in-between. However, my favorite period of fashion would be 1840-1870 in Europe. I am a sucker for a big skirt! I draft my own garments and I am always perfecting this skill.

What goes on here?

I hope to post a lot of my process for my creations here, whether they be digital or physical. I am self-taught in almost everything I do, so I like to think of posting my processes, problems, and solutions as a way of giving back to the very community who taught me. I am a big believer in creating a friendlier, more helpful internet for all.

I also like to write about just about anything. I am a very political person, not by my choice, but rather because the world I live in has politicized my very identity as a disabled woman. I am always looking for ways to uplift people in my communities, both IRL and online. I believe systemic inequality is real and we must make an active effort to fight it and break it down.
